Moskovitch is accused of actions in Gaza. He allegedly posted footage of tanks destroying buildings at the Islamic University of Gaza, which included a hospital and a medical faculty. Meanwhile, Israel denies the charges of human rights violations.
The situation has further strained relations between Turkey and Israel, who have also exchanged criticisms over recent Israeli airstrikes in Syria, with Turkey condemning these strikes and criticizing the United States while Israel has expressed concerns over Turkey's influence in Syria since 2024.
