In her address, Gheorghiu stated, "My name is Oana Gheorghiu and I am part of the NGO, Sorosist, globalist and neo-Marxist system that came to take over PNL." This comment highlight her outsider status and her willingness to challenge the status quo.
Despite her entry into politics, Gheorghiu emphasized her lack of political influence, focusing instead on her history of civic engagement. For 15 years, she has worked closely with families of sick children, protesting state failures and stepping in where the state was unable to act.

She urged the PNL to embrace modernization and reform, stating, "The National Liberal Party must remain the party that dares, not the one that surrenders."
