Transylvania Weather: Warm Start to September with Cooling Ahead

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) released a two-week weather forecast for Transylvania on August 31, 2026. Initial days will see high temperatures around 31°C, cooling to 28°C by September 4. Temperatures will rise again, peaking at 31°C until September 7. The second week will experience cooling, with highs around 26°C by September 13. Rain is expected at the start and will become more likely in the second week.

Transylvania Weather: Warm Start to September with Cooling Ahead

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a weather forecast for Transylvania, covering the period from August 31 to September 13, 2026. The first week of September will kick off with high temperatures, reaching average maximums of approximately 31°C. By September 1-4, temperatures are expected to decrease to around 28°C.

Starting September 5, the region will experience a resurgence of warmth. Temperatures climb back to highs near 31°C. This warmer spell is anticipated to last until around September 7. However, as the second week approaches, a gradual cooling trend is expected, with daytime temperatures dropping to an average maximum of 26°C by September 13.

Nighttime temperatures will be notably cooler, with average minimums of 14°C during the first three nights of the forecast period. Following this, minimum temperatures are predicted to fall to about 12°C for most of the remaining days. An exception will occur on September 6, when minimums are expected to rise briefly to 14°C.

Rainfall is anticipated during the initial two days of September. A transition to more unstable weather conditions.

The second week will see an increased likelihood of precipitation as September advances, indicating this shift in atmospheric stability. Overall, the forecast suggests a warm start to the month, followed by a cooling trend that will align temperatures with typical values for this time of year.
