Superliga clubs make significant transfers ahead of new season

Romanian Superliga clubs are actively engaging in transfer activities as they gear up for the new season, which officially kicks off on July 17. The first round of matches is scheduled for July 17-18, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting season ahead.
Universitatea Craiova has confirmed the appointment of Filipe Coelho as their head coach. The club has also strengthened its squad by signing Alexandru Maxim from FCSB. However, they have parted ways with several players, including Vasile Mogoș, Joao Goncalves, Silviu Lung jr, and Florin Ștefan.

The Superliga will take a winter break after round 21 on December 19-20, 2026, and resume on January 16-17, 2027. The play-off and play-out stages are set to begin on March 20-21, 2027, with the play-off round 10 scheduled for May 29-30, 2027.
