The city hall has signed a contract worth 186,635 lei, excluding VAT, with IC Metal Confex for the necessary repairs. This agreement was reached through direct negotiation. Previously, the initial construction work was awarded to two companies, OPTICA SOFIA SRL and EUROPAN PROD SRL, but their contract was terminated in January of this year.
The initial project received substantial European funding amounting to 45,737,226 lei, which was secured in 2015. However, the project was not completed by 2023 and was subsequently transferred to the Center Region Program for 2021-2027.
To the repairs, Făgăraș City Hall is tendering for other unfinished works, valued at 500,370 lei plus VAT.
