The National House of Pensions (CNPP) unveiled a new digital portal on September 1st, aimed at improving service accessibility for pensioners and employees. This initiative is part of a digitalization project funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
Users can now establish Virtual Private Space (SPV) accounts through the portal, using the ROeID system for a fully online experience. Previously, those without an electronic signature were required to visit an office in person. The new platform offers three methods of SPV account creation: in-person, with a qualified electronic signature, or via ROeID, which necessitates an active ROeID account. According to CNPP, "Two of three registration methods are fully digital."
Existing users will not need to create new accounts or alter their login credentials. "Existing accounts migrated; users log in with same credentials," stated CNPP. Through the SPV, users can submit and track requests. They can view information on the public pension system. The portal also provides access to details about their contribution periods and Pillar II contributions. Pension decisions and electronic pension slips are available through the platform.
A retirement age simulator. The new portal also features this tool, which can be used without authentication. This tool requires details such as birth date, gender, pension type, and any special work periods to estimate retirement age. However, it does not provide future pension value calculations.
Some services offered by the portal were available on the previous platform. The portal now centralizes thorough information on pensions, social insurance, work accidents, and international pensions, as well as spa ticket availability. Users can find forms, contact details, and make online appointments for local office visits. To assist users, CNPP has included a help section with explanations and tutorials.
