In a quiet corner of Cluj County, the arrest of a 66-year-old man has shocked the local community. On June 10, police detained the man following allegations of serious sexual offenses, including rape and sexual assault, which he is said to have committed by exploiting his position as a spiritual leader.

The suspect is accused of having assaulted a 17-year-old without consent in 2023. Additionally, he allegedly sexually assaulted three other young women, aged between 15 and 18, during the period spanning 2023 to 2024. Incidents reportedly took place during religious gatherings held at his residence.
