Monor Trail Run returns with four diverse races

The Monor Trail Run is set to return on October 24 in Monor, Bistrița-Năsăud, offering a thrilling challenge for runners of all fitness levels. Participants can choose from four races: the Semi 22 km, Cross 11 km, Cros 6 km, and a 1 km Kids Race.

Competitors will traverse the scenic hills of Monor, part of the renowned Via Transilvanica route. This 1,400 km trail stretches from Putna to Drobeta-Turnu Severin, passing through Monor and Gledin, providing runners with a picturesque backdrop.

Organizers have set aside 9,600 lei in prize money for the event. Winners in each category will also receive free registration for the 2027 edition, encouraging a spirit of competition and continuity.

The event remains inclusive, with free invitations extended to disabled participants and registration discounts for minors affiliated with sports associations or clubs.

Paul, the founder of the Monor Trail Run, is originally from Monor and started the event to share his love for running with the community. His vision has united athletes and enthusiasts, turning the trail run into a highlight of the local sporting calendar.
