Leadership Shake-Up at ACS Municipal Turda

ACS Municipal Turda is set for a major leadership overhaul following the resignations of key figures. Florin-Daniel Handrea has stepped down as President, and Dumitru-Adrian Șomlea has resigned from the Board. In response, Florin-Clement Pampea has been proposed to take over the presidency, while Vasile-Cornel Suciu is suggested as a new board member.

The proposed changes will be deliberated at an Extraordinary Local Council meeting scheduled for August 24, 2026, at 2 PM. Mayor Cristian-Octavian Matei initiated the project, which aims to ensure continuity in leadership and prevent any administrative, financial, or sports-related disruptions within the club. Later that day, at 4 PM, the Extraordinary General Assembly of ACS Municipal Turda will convene to discuss the new Board mandate for 2026-2030. Turda Municipality, an associate member of the club since the Local Council's approval in April 2026, matters in these developments. Monthly fees for associate members have been set. Individuals pay 300 lei. Legal entities contribute 70,000 lei, amounting to 840,000 lei annually.
