Sibiu to Host Two Chamber Music Recitals at Thalia Hall
The George Enescu Competition continues its program in Sibiu with two chamber music recitals at Thalia Hall. Violinist Nemanja Radulović and pianist Laure Favre-Kahn will perform on September 8. Cellist Enrico Dindo and pianist Monica Cattarossi will take the stage on September 10. In a continuation of the George Enescu International Competition's program, Sibiu's Thalia Hall will host two chamber music recitals, bringing renowned musicians to the stage on September 8 and September 10. The first recital features violinist Nemanja Radulović and pianist Laure Favre-Kahn, scheduled for September 8 at 7 p.m. Radulović previously won the George Enescu Competition. He also serves on the violin jury this year. His accolades include the prestigious OPUS KLASSIK award in 2024. Favre-Kahn joins him with celebrated achievements: she was recognized as a ProPiano Competition laureate and an Adami Classical Revelation award recipient.
The second recital on September 10 at 7 p.m. will show cellist Enrico Dindo and pianist Monica Cattarossi. Dindo won the Rostropovich International Competition. He was formerly principal cellist of the La Scala Orchestra. He will perform alongside Cattarossi, who brings her expertise as a teacher at two conservatories. This concert is part of the Italy-Romania Cultural Year, with support from the Italian Cultural Institute in Bucharest.
