The 'difffusion' IT festival, scheduled to take place in Alba Iulia, has been postponed for 2026. Organizers have attributed the delay to issues with the management of the Transylvanian Princes' Palace, the intended venue for the event.

AI3, the first IT cluster in Alba County and the organizer of 'difffusion', accused the Palace's management of being 'lacking hospitality' towards the 22 guests expected at the festival. The organization cited 'defective management' and an 'inappropriate attitude' from the venue's officials as reasons for the postponement. According to AI3, the minimal conditions necessary for the festival were not met.

In their statement, the organizers mentioned that there have been previous incidents involving the institution, which contributed to their decision. They have apologized to both the guests and the public for the inconvenience and expressed their intention to collaborate with 'more serious partners' for future editions of the festival.

Robert Roman, the manager of the Transylvanian Princes' Palace, chose not to comment directly on the claims made by the organizers. "It is their option, I will not enter such polemics," Roman said. He asserted that the institution's reputation and the city's tourism would not be affected by the controversy. Roman also expressed willingness to engage in discussions about hosting the festival in the future, stating, "With great pleasure. For next year it is possible."
