Two Men Detained in Huedin for Violent Robbery
Police detained two men, aged 24 and 21, in Huedin on August 27 for a violent robbery. The suspects allegedly threatened two victims, aged 15 and 18, with a sharp object and demanded 100 lei. Police in Huedin detained two men, aged 24 and 21, on August 27 in connection with a violent robbery. The incident involved two victims, aged 15 and 18, who reported being approached around 1 PM by the suspects. The assailants allegedly used violence and threatened the victims with a sharp object, demanding a total of 100 lei, with 50 lei from each victim.
Following the report, Huedin Police swiftly identified and located the suspects. They were taken to the police station for questioning. However, during the detention, the 24-year-old suspect attempted to escape by jumping from a first-floor bathroom. Police officers pursued and quickly apprehended the escapee.
Both suspects were detained for 24 hours, and investigations are ongoing under the supervision of the Huedin prosecutor. The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the law.
