Ciolt hosts 7th 'Florile Chioarului' festival for young folk talents
The 7th edition of the 'Florile Chioarului' folk music festival is set for October 31 in Ciolt. The 'Florile Chioarului' folk music festival returns for its seventh edition on Saturday, October 31, at the 'Gheorghe Lazăr' Cultural Center in Ciolt. Organized by the Cultural Association 'Cioltișorul' Ciolt, in collaboration with Șomcuta Mare City Hall and Local Council, the festival seeks to promote folk music and nurture the artistic talents of children.
Young performers aged 5 to 14 are invited to display their talents in this lively celebration of folk culture. The competition is divided into three age groups: 5-7, 8-10, and 11-14 years. Prizes include a Grand Prize, along with first, second, and third places in each category.
Beyond the main awards, six honorable mentions and a Popularity Award will be distributed, with diplomas and medals for all participants. Special excellence diplomas are ready for guests, and surprise prizes promise to add excitement.
