CSM Roman failed to win any matches, falling to CSM Galați, HC Zalău, and Știința București. CSU Pitești also missed out on promotion after losses to CSM Sighișoara and CS Medgidia. The tournaments in Brașov determine which teams compete in the National League and which remain in Divizia A. Two separate competitions ran simultaneously over the three days, with teams battling for promotion or fighting to maintain their top-tier status.
HC Zalău's qualification marks a return to the National League under Tadici's leadership. The narrow win over Știința București proved decisive, as both teams entered the final round of matches with identical records. The 38-24 demolition of CSM Roman demonstrated the team's range, combining tactical discipline with attacking power.
Știința București's qualification came despite the opening-round setback against HC Zalău. The team responded with convincing performances against CSM Galați and CSM Roman, the latter requiring a high-scoring affair that finished 39-36. CSM Sighișoara's 45-32 victory over CSU Pitești represented the tournament's widest margin.
The result eliminated CSU Pitești from contention and confirmed CSM Sighișoara's place in the National League. CS Medgidia advanced on goal difference after splitting their two matches. The 28-27 win over CSU Pitești, decided in the final minutes, proved sufficient despite the earlier loss to CSM Sighișoara.
CSM Galați's single victory over CSM Roman left them one win short of qualification. The team's losses to Știința București and HC Zalău, both by three-goal margins, sealed their fate. CSM Roman finished winless across three matches, conceding 103 goals while scoring 87.
The 38-24 loss to HC Zalău represented their heaviest defeat of the tournament.
