The victims, including the caller, her 64-year-old husband, their 32-year-old daughter, and a 26-year-old man from Galați County, were all injured and required medical attention. While the woman has been discharged, the 64-year-old man remains in a precarious condition, having sustained the most severe injuries. The suspect fled the scene in a car, prompting a rapid police response.
Authorities discovered his vehicle abandoned on a forest road and subsequently located him nearby. He was immobilized and taken in for questioning, leading to a 24-hour detention ordered by the prosecutor.
