Rabla Auto 2026 Relaunch Offers Eco-Vouchers for New Vehicles

The Rabla Auto 2026 program, managed by the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM), is set to reopen for individuals seeking eco-vouchers for new vehicles. Registration for this initiative is scheduled to begin on August 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM, and will close on December 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM. However, the registration period may end sooner if the allocated budget is exhausted, according to AFM.

The AFM announced, "AFM announces new Rabla Auto 2026 registration for individuals." This program is specifically aimed at those who missed previous registration opportunities. The eco-vouchers, which can reach up to 18,500 lei, are designated for the purchase of new electric or hydrogen vehicles, as highlighted by the administration.

The funding for this round of the Rabla Auto program is sourced from previously reserved funds that were left unused due to applicants not completing necessary procedures. "Budget comes from reserved funds with incomplete procedures," AFM confirmed. This financial backing allows for a range of eco-voucher values based on vehicle type: 18,500 lei for pure electric or hydrogen vehicles, 15,000 lei for plug-in hybrid cars or electric motorcycles, 12,000 lei for hybrid propulsion system vehicles, and 10,000 lei for thermal propulsion vehicles or motorcycles using GPL/GNC.

Interested participants must complete the registration process exclusively through AFM's online application platform at https://inscrierionline.afm.ro. Upon registration, the system will generate a registration number and reserve the eco-voucher amount for the applicant. Participants are then required to enter the chassis number of their old vehicle, upload necessary documents as outlined in the program's financing guide, and select a validated manufacturer from whom to purchase their new vehicle.
